It was such an honour to be asked to co-create with The Met on a collection of barware. The Met is an iconic NY institution and it felt like a ‘moment’ for me. New York is where I first landed in the US and it will always feel like home.
We created two sets of wine charms based on source art, hanging on the walls of the museum and stored in the costume archive. The focus was on incredible detail which we achieved with intricate hand enameling and hand set stones. To complement these charms, I designed a dazzling sunflower wine stopper that truly sparkles from every angle.
Not only are these wonderful mementos of a visit to New York, but they also make fabulous gifts for anyone who loves The Met as much as I do.
This collaboration has been MONTHS in the making and I could not be more thrilled to bring it to life now!
